The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in a meeting with the Chief Justice and officials of the Judicial branch:

The real winners of the elections are the people and those who have made it epical

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution on Monday 28th of June 2021, on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Beheshti and Judiciary Day, in a meeting with the head and officials of the Judiciary, called for the continuation of the path of the last two years work which recovers the trust and generates the hope and the continuation of the documented transformation in the new era of the Judiciary. By praising the real epic of the people in the 19th of June elections, he said: "Despite the pandemic situation, economic difficulties and some other issues, People have distracted the arrogant world's plan which they have prepared in last several months. As people have defeated the enemies of Iran, they are considered the real winners of the elections.

In this meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei called Ayatollah Beheshti a martyr, thinker and theorist, a prominent and truly revolutionary, a true believer, law-abiding and very effective figure, and added: He has done a great favour to the country and the nation, and his right of honour must be recognized and exercised.

Referring to the heinous crime of the hypocrites in martyring Ayatollah Beheshti and about 70 other personalities, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution said: "These assassins have explicitly confessed to this horrible crime, but today, with the support of France and other western countries, they act freely. You would be astonished at western obscenity at their human rights claims and, at the same time, providing their constant support to these terrorists.

Ayatollah Khamenei, by thanking the activities of officials and all active elements of the Judiciary throughout the country, called Mr Ra'isi's movement during his tenure an example of jihadi movement and thanked Mr Ra'isi and added: "your day and night work and motivated efforts have significant results, by the grace of God.

He called the revival of hope and increasing people's trust in the Judiciary as the most important effect of the struggling movement in the Judiciary during the last two years, added: "This is the hope and trust which is considered as a valuable social asset that nothing can be similar to it."

By referring to the natural process of change in the Judiciary after the election of Mr Ra'isi as an elected president, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution made a few points in charting the future course of the Judiciary.

He called the continuation of a transformational approach in the Judiciary a significant step and absolutely necessary, he added: "This path must continue with intensity and even faster, and it has to be the same criterion of a good, credible, operational, non-demonstrative, non-slogan and scheduled plan for change in the Judiciary.

Ayatollah Khamenei said:  The transformation plan must be well informed and understood by all the officials of the Judiciary and added: the Judiciary should be active in filling the regulatory gaps for the implementation of the transformation plan and encourage the officials to implement this plan correctly, thoroughly and consistently in various ways.

By expressing satisfaction with the Judiciary's involvement in the revival of public rights, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution said: "This is very necessary and valuable work, one of the absolute duties of the Judiciary, and its scope should be widened from a productive revival of the units and eliminating the seizure of natural resources to areas such as health, education, environment and enjoining the good and forbidding the evil.

By insisting his dissatisfaction over the lack of enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil in society, he said: "Those who act truly, in accordance with this divine obligation and not for fuss or other purposes, should be supported."

The Supreme Leader of the Revolution called on the Judiciary to fill the legal gaps related to the  public rights and added: "It must be clarified what is the verdict against the violators of public rights in order to prevent the issuance of rulings based on the taste of individuals."

By expressing satisfaction with the fight against corruption within the Judiciary, Ayatollah Khamenei called it a top priority and one of the most essential matters, adding: "Of course, the vast majority of judges and staff of the judiciary are" faithful, honourable, chaste and responsible. " And sometimes there is a controversy about the extent of corruption in the Judiciary, but the small number of corrupt elements must also be dealt with severely and decisively.

He called for a swift and active response to the public reports about the existence of some corrupt elements in the Judiciary. He said: "Of course, these reports may not be accurate, but they should be taken seriously and, by avoiding optimistic approaches, the inspections should be started immediately through open or covered methods, if the corruption is proven, the corrupt element must be brought to the justice with its real meanings.

The Supreme Leader of the Revolution called the presence among the people as one of the positive points for Mr Ra'isi and emphasized: His successor also must continue the same way, which is very good, necessary and blessed work.

Ayatollah Khamenei enumerated the relations of the officials, especially the head of the Judiciary, with the active groups of the society such as academic, seminary, economic, labours, productive teams and women-related activists in the context of public presence and said: Listen to their professional views and explain the policies to them correctly, because, sometimes the ignorance of the policies and facts can drive them towards some objections.

Summing up this part of his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed his hope that the Judiciary, in its new era, will continue the same path of the last two years with power and with more activities, will achieve better results for the country and the nation.

In another part of his speech, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution referred to the epic of the nation in the 19th of June elections and called some enemies efforts in cyberspace and media to deny the great work of the people, as useless, saying: This election was truly and fairly an epical one, and analysts who were observing the Iranian elections, have realized the importance of the event which has been taken place.

He called the activities of thousands of propaganda by apparatuses, including the American, British and some mercenary countries, by using some traitorous Iranian elements to dissuade people from participating in elections, as an unprecedented in the world, adding: "They had some hope of succus in their plan, because the people are under pressure due to the economic problems or some other incidents, which occurred later, such as some candidates could not be approved.

Ayatollah Khamenei pointed out: Of course, I may not agree with some of the views of the Guardian Council, for example, about one or two cases or less, but I consider the members of this council to be law-abiding, pious and bound by religious duties, They performed their religious duties.

He added: "Foreign enemies hoped that as a result of these excuses, the turnout in the elections would reach 20 to 25 per cent, but their hope did not fulfil."

The Leader of the Revolution also reminded the issue of Corona and its impact of about 10% on participation based on expert calculations and added: "Despite all these issues, people created a huge and real epic with their enthusiastic ques and motivational efforts since the early morning hours." And they have really punched on the chest of the boycotters, those who were against or opposed the elections.

By explaining the winners and losers of the 19th of June elections, he said: "The real winners of the polls are the people of Iran and all those who contributed in the excitement of the elections, based on this, the candidates who did not get enough votes are also among the winners, and in another side, The losers are those who tried their best to keep the people away from the ballot boxes, but the people rejected them with their presence and defeated them in their hopes and greed for the election results.

Ayatollah Khamenei also pointed to some erroneous analyses of the invalid votes and said: "These invalid votes do not mean that they are against the system, but it means exactly the opposite, because someone who came to the ballot box and did not see his favourite person in the list of the candidates, but He wrote the name of the person in the paper or left it blank, in fact, he showed his interest in the ballot box as well as the system.

He considered some issues during the elections as an experience and a lesson and said: "There were various tastes in the debates. At the same time, all the honourable candidates, despite the enemy's induction, agreed that the country's economic problems could be solved, and there was no dead end for it." But they argued on the rightness of each proposed solution: My solution is correct, and another said my solution is better.

The Supreme Leader of the Revolution added: "In the debates, some candidates defended the positions of the revolution and spoke with the necessary politeness and religious morals, but some of them committed immoral acts that are unfortunate."

By recalling the US election campaign and the candidates' obscenities against each other, he added: "Americans cannot be the excellent role models, so in political matters, one should speak morally and religiously, without insults and slander, we should not follow the way of American politicians like Biden and Trump with the obscenities and insults.

By referring to the statement of an American official about our country's elections, Ayatollah Khamenei said: "The American elections were disgraced in the eyes of the whole world. Now, after a few months, the same disgraced people speak out and criticize the Iranian elections, while with that disgrace, they should not even talk about elections.

The Supreme Leader of the Revolution praised the excellent reaction of officials and other candidates with the elected President and said: "After the election and the victory of the favoured candidate with a high percentage of votes, top officials and other candidates reacted very well, by holding meetings with the elected President, exchanging views with him and sending congratulatory messages to him. Overall the necessary calm and peace of mind in the country was indeed demonstrated.

By comparing this solid positive behaviour with the post-election conflicts in the United States, he thanked God for the existence of this blessed environment in the country. He prayed for the increase of these orientations.

In the end, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed his hope that the election result will be blessed for the people and the elected President and that the officials will be able to perform their duties well.

Before the speech of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, HIWM Ra'isi, the Chief Justice of Iran, gave a one-year report on the performance of himself and his colleagues in four areas: "Implementation of the Transformation Plan in the Judiciary", "Fight against Corruption", "Revival of Public Rights" and "Popularization of the judiciary".

The Chief Justice of Iran mentioned the announcement and the beginning of the implementation of the Judicial Transformation plan as among the fulfilled demands of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, which facilitated the work of judges, expedited the procedure and reduced the average time for processing cases in this system by 20 days.

HIWM Ra'isi called the fight against corruption a national discourse and pointed to the reduction of violations within the Judiciary, the return of more than 90,000 billion tomans the treasury and the final verdict of the perpetrators of macroeconomic cases.

Mr Ra'isi, by referring to the systematization of property rights and the abolition of the occupation of thousands of hectares of national lands last year, said that attention to environmental issues and the implementation of the cadastral plan are other measures taken by this judiciary body to restore public rights.

The Chief Justice of Iran said that the widespread support for this judiciary body has increased due to the strengthening the public relations. He announced the special handling of multi-plaintiff cases and financial and credit institutions, as well as the issuance of directives to support producers and prevent banks from making hasty decisions in this area.
